Lagoon Greenway

Conservation Tour
This exciting property boasts an ecologically diverse three-mile trail system for hiking, jogging or bike riding. The Lagoon Greenway is an example of a public/private cooperative developed by the Land Trust, working with Indian River County Commissioners, The Mosquito Control District and F.I.N.D. (Florida Inland Navigation District).

Exotic Plant Control/Trail Maintenance - Volunteer

Volunteer Opportunity
Join us for a few hours helping to eliminate exotic (invasive) plants and maintain trails at the Toni Robinson Waterfront Trail. No experience necessary, a volunteer leader will greet you! Meet in the parking lot of the Trail just off US1 at 79th Street. Wear Comfortable clothing to work outside, bring gloves, water and snacks. We will have gear and tools to borrow. Bird Surveys

Birding
Amateurs and experienced birders are invited to grab a cup of coffee and head to the Land Trust's conservation land for a morning walk. A knowledgeable birder will lead the group on an outing to survey the species located on the 111 acre protected area. The walk will take birders on a 1.5 mile path around mangrove forest, by ponds, and past the Lagoon.

Note: Regarding Walking Tours: The Land Trust's popular conservation tours are free to the public, some tours are limited to 30 participants. Participants should wear comfortable shoes and clothes for walking. There are always great opportunities for using a camera and binoculars.
